Pndean gg 1, RW 13 Peneleh, Kelurahan Peneleh, Kecamatan Genteng Surabaya, dihebohkan dengan temuan Jobong atau sumur tua yang pernah ada di era kerajaan Majapahit pada tanggal 1 November 2018. Galian selokan yang sedalam kurang lebih 1-2 meter yang digali Sueb (pekerja galian red.), menemukan dinding yang terbuat dari tanah liat dengan ukuran diameter 89cm dan tinggi 48cm tersebut telah mendapat perhatian dari dinas terkait yaitu Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan kota Surabaya dan Badan Pelestarian Cagar Budaya Trowulan Sidoarjo. Tidak hanya Jobong, ditemukan benda-benda purbakala lainnya seperti, batu bata merah dengan ukuran yang sangat besar dan mirip yang ada di candi Trowulan Mojokerto, pecahan tembikar dan piring keramik, serta tulang belulang yang terkubur di area jobong tersebut. Ditemukannya banyak benda dan situs tersebut, disinyalir benda temuan dan situs sudah ada pada masa Kerajaan Majapahit. Menurut M. Ikhwan, tim peninjau dari BPCB Trowulan, Jobong tersebut sudah ada pada sejak 500 - 700 th silam. Dengan ditemukannya situs tersebut
di kampung Pandean gg 1 Surabaya, bisa jadi kampung tersebut sudah ada dan banyak penduduknya. Menurut penulis, rakyat Majapahit sebagian besar melakukan perjalanan (berpindah) dari wilayah Mojokerto, dengan tujuan mencari tempat tinggal baru, dan mencoba beradaptasi dengan lingkungan baru dengan cara menerapkan kebiasaannya semasa di wilayah Majapahit, yaitu membuat sumur sebagai sumber mata air alami dengan metode saat itu, membuat batu bata merah

yang berukuran sama sebagai bahan pokok bangunan dan sebagainya. Entah apa yang membuat rakyat Majapahit tersebut melakukan perjalanan jauh dan mendirikan pemukiman.Sekali lagi ini hanya opini penulis, benar atau tidaknya dapat ditemukan pada pengumuman resmi dari tim BPCB Trowulan. Berikut foto dokumentasi penulis sebagai bukti bahwa benar adanya temuan tersebut di kampung Pandean gg 1 Surabaya. Semoga dengan adanya temuan ini, Kampung Pandean gg 1 Surabaya dapat dijadikan sebagai sarana belajar sejarah oleh wisatawan lokal maupun asing. Masuk Berita On-Line
Begitu judul yang tertera di berita online. TBM RW 13 Peneleh ternyata pernah di liput pada tahun 2016 bulan Juni. Kami sebagai petugas tidak menyadari bahwa berita tersebut sudah diposting 2 tahun silam. seperti ini cuplikan beritanya.
TBM yang banyak dimintai warga berada di RW 13 Peneleh. Meski pada bulan Ramadan, segelintir anak-anak sekitar Peneleh, Pandean, Lawang Seketeng, dan Grogol memilih meluangkan waktunya untuk belajar sekaligus bermain di suatu wadah yang bergerak pada bidang pendidikan ini.
Anak-anak itu lebih memilih belajar ketimbang bermain gadget. Anak-anak inipun hanya bersepakat setiap harinya untuk mengunjungi TBM yang terletak di dekat Makam Peneleh dengan melihat jam bukanya.
Bahkan, mereka sering datang terlebih dahulu dan menunggu bukanya TBM. Namun, hal itu tidak membuat mengurungkan niatnya untuk bermain bersama teman sejawatnya.
Hanya saja, TBM berukuran sekitar 5x5 meter persegi itu masih minim fasilitas. Hanya ada lemari untuk menyimpan buku, meja petugas TBM, meja untuk membaca, serta alas karpet yang seadanya.
Untuk mainan tradisional pun penjaga TBM harus merogoh kantongnya sendiri untuk mengantisipasi kejenuhan pengunjung. "Kami beli sendiri mainan ini (dakon dan monopoli, red). Ya, biar anak-anak betah disini dan tidak bosan dengan adanya selingan bermain yang edukatif," kata Dimas Dwi Senggono, petugas TBM RW 13 Peneleh ini.
Dimas menjelaskan, ada sekitar 25 anak setiap harinya di TBM Peneleh. Selain itu, juga anak-anak Paud juga menyempatkan untuk belajar dan bermain. Dimas yang baru bergabung sejak bulan Januari lalu ini pun harus pandai-pandai dalam mengambil hati anak-anak ini. (*)

UNESCO mengusung tema " Literacy and Skills Development " pada tahun ini. Tema tersebut diangkat karena keaksaraan sangan dengan kegiatan literasi dan pengembangan kemampuan dalam berliterasi. Kementrian Pendidikan dan Budaya Indonesia pun menyambut dengan antusias tema yang diusung oleh UNESCO, dengan cara mengadakan kompetisi literasi berupa penulisan artikel, jurnalistik, dan pengembangan blog dengan konten khusus yaitu Literasi di lingkungan keluarga. Tepat hari ini, 8 September adalah puncak dari HAI.
